Sailing during the midnight sun is something every sailor has to experience at least once in their life. In higher latitudes, the sun never truly set, making night passage making an absolute dream. This trip will take you as far north as you can get in the UK, by leaving Orkney Isles and (hopefully) heading to the remote Fair Isle, before stretching even further north to the Shetland’s. After which you’ll point South and head for the carming port of Wick on Scotland’s North East coast.
