Sail your way through history as you explore the Golf of Cadiz and land one of the most ancient cities in Europe

4 Nights: 26 - 30 April 2021

€1,100 / £1,010 per person

If you’ve ever dreamt of weaving your way into spectacular historic sailing grounds and sailing the Golf of Cadiz arriving one of the most ancient cities in Europe, then you will love this sailing adventure.

The seaside villages of the Cadiz province are synonymous with bluefin tuna, with a long history of fishing this majestic fish and intriguing ways to celebrate their catch. The history stretches all the way back to 800BC when the city of Cadiz was founded and introduced the traditional method of fishing known as the almadraba. This was later adopted by the Romans and continues to this day during the tuna season from April to June.

As you sail along this beautiful stretch of shoreline, you'll learn the techniques used by many before you and the history which makes this area so remarkable.
