Looking for a quick island getaway? This is it. This is an exploration of the beautiful Catalina Island, stopping off at Cherry Cove near Two Harbors and the small town of Avalon. Catalina is known for its wildlife, dive sites and Mt. Orizaba, its highest peak. It is a small slice of paradise.

On the first day, we’ll depart Marina Del Rey and sail to Cherry Cove near Two Harbors and spend a few days there exploring the beaches and swimming in the bay.

Then we’ll head to the bustling town of Avalon. This will give you a taste of local life, and an insight into the history of the Tongva Tribe who first inhabited the Island.

Then we shall head back on our last sail to Marina Del Rey.

Expect to leave early on the first day and return on the evening of the last day. Marina Del Rey is very close to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
