Want to try sailing? Looking to get back on the water after a hiatus? Our Solent Experience Weekends allow you the chance to experience sailing on one of the world's most famous stretches of water - the Solent. Under the watchful eye of a Kraken Skipper, you'll not only learn the basics of sailing a yacht but also how to enjoy sailing to the fullest in beautiful surroundings. If the weather forecast is right, you may even have the chance to sail over to France and back - so don't forget your passport!

Join our yacht on Friday morning in the beautiful Port Hamble. After a safety and introduction to the crew and yacht, you’ll set off sailing. Apart from that, there is no fixed plan as it’s up to you as the crew to decided – under the guidance of the skipper – where you want to sail. What is guaranteed is seeing some beautiful scenery whilst getting to grips with how to sail a yacht. You’ll return to Port Hamble by 4pm on Sunday afternoon – just in time for a late Sunday roast.

  • 2 nights on a yacht
  • Sailing instruction
  • Use of wet weather sailing clothing
  • All meals for the duration of the trip. Alcohol is not included.
  • Mooring fees
  • Visits to restaurants, museums, galleries etc during the trip.
