Explore the most beautiful part of the eastern Caribbean on board a converted classic trawler. Perfect for both first time sailors and experienced mariners alike, budding skippers will have the opportunity to practise their pilotage with full instruction from experienced RYA/ASA instructors onboard.

ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrive 8 am. (guests can stay onboard the night before at no extra cost), allocation of berths and watches, familiarization, briefing on the itinerary. Sail to Carriacou, possible lunch stop at Isle de Ronde, dinner ashore.
Day 2
Clear customs, sail to Union island for lunch and clear customs. Afternoon and evening in Tobago Cays. Swimming with turtles (almost) guaranteed.
Day 3, 4 and 5
Cruising the southern Grenadines, the jewel in the Caribbean. Mayreau, Canouan, Palm Island, Petit St. Vincent, etc.
Day 6
Sail to Union Island, clear customs then overnight in Chatham Bay. Great night ashore at local beach bars, good food and entertainment.
Day 7
Return sail to St. George’s Grenada, clear customs then guests can disembark or stay onboard (no extra charge) for a celebration party with the crew.

Hiking shoes / boots – suitable for exploring on rough or wet terrain ashore

Swimwear

Camera, batteries, memory cards etc – it is possible to charge camera batteries onboard but it is a good idea to bring spare batteries and lots of memory card space

Toiletries – basic wash kit with travel-sized bottles

Eye mask and earplugs – can make sleeping easier on board a boat

Any personal medications that you need – ensure you have enough to last the whole trip

Dry bags – recommended for keeping any electrical kit in and for taking things ashore

Head torch – ideally with a red light function

Sunscreen

Sunglasses

A set of ‘shore clothes’ for travelling in / rest days in town

Passport / visas

Credit/debit card for shore-based activities or travel emergencies

Kitbag – this must be squashy type (not a suitcase) a large barrel type bag is ideal

INSURANCE

It is the responsibility of each member of the voyage crew to ensure that they have sufficient cover for their needs.

You must be covered for tall ship sailing outside of coastal waters.

You will not be able to sail if you do not have adequate insurance.
