Another classic RORC race takes you upwind from Cowes to Eddystone Lighthouse, off Plymouth

3 Nights: 28 -30 May 2021

£465  per person

Power from Cowes to Eddystone Lighthouse, off Plymouth. Then at the lighthouse turning around, popping up the spinnaker, sleigh riding back around the back of the Isle of Wight to finish with a short stitch beat back to Cowes. At 230nms, this is one of the longer RORC races of the season – some call it a mini-fastnet.

Start: Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, 28 May 2021, 1800hrs

Finish: Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, 30 May 2021, am

As the race starts early on Saturday 29th May, we’ll all meet in Portsmouth from 1800hrs on Friday 28th to prep the yacht and eat together. After a good night sleep, we’ll head off to the start line off Cowes and race in a highly competitive fleet to Eddystone Lighthouse and back.
