Join like-minded adventurers from all over the world on this voyage through the incredible seascapes of the Vega archipelago in Norway, racing, hiking and sailing your way to the annual Træna Music Festival.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking nature of Norway as you sail through the stunning arctic landscape of Vega, passing thousands of islands, islets and reefs and experiencing some of the best places this archipelago has to offer.

This island-hopping trip to Træna has become a legendary summer adventure, with around eight boats sailing together each year. For ten days you will navigate through the landscape, hiking a mountain range, fishing for fresh food, taking part in an ocean race and finally, attending the beautiful Træna Music Festival with your new friends.

With opportunities aplenty for exploring onshore as well as offshore, this trip can be as active or as relaxed as you want to make it. Hike, climb, fish, kayak, paddle, swim, or cosy up on the boat and read a great book. Sailing from beach to mountain to village, you can improve your skills on board while immersing yourself in this unforgettable adventure.

Travel

Check sas.no or wideoe.no for flights to Svolvær. If you get to Bodø you may take the ferry or fast ferry over to Lofoten. See the public itinerary here: www.177nordland.no. You may also perfectly well take the train to Bodø. Travelling slowly gives another dimension to a journey than flying. If you’re travelling from a city in the north or wish to extend your journey with a day or two, you can consider doing so on Hurtigruten.

Take an internal flight to Svolvær.
