This trip is more focused on running than sailing, with the boat serving primarily as a migrating home base for gourmet meals, comfortable accommodations, and friendly conversation at the end of each day. Depending on weather and sea conditions, each voyage of this adventure will vary.

The itinerary may include sailing to the Lónafjörður Fjord, running to the lighthouse of Hornbjargsviti, traversing the lush Hornstrandir Nature Preserve, visiting the magnificent bird cliffs of Hornbjarg, and exploring the abandoned Látrar village, Hesteyri settlement, and an old whaling station.

The running trails that wind their way between these striking fjords, pristine bays, and scenic mountaintops, offer wonderful opportunities to experience some of Iceland’s most enchanting places. This outing is suitable for people of all ages and varying interests.
