£650 per person

Experience the thrill of sailing on a high-performance Volvo Open 70 while honing your skills and building your miles. This trip is for everyone, whether you are a novice or experienced sailor. Bagging at least 700 nautical miles as we sail Volvo Open 70 "Kraken" from Gibraltar to Cagliari, Sardinia as part of our Biscay Bash series.

On this leg, experience the wonder of the Mediterranean Sea as you head towards Sardinia. Passing by the Spanish islands and coastline as you power towards your destination, windswept, salty, but happy, having accomplished an amazing journey onboard one of the most extreme racing yachts. Upon your arrival in Sardinia, you'll experience first hand the local culture of the capital city Cagliari, busting with history and stunning architecture such as the beautiful 13th century Cagliari Cathedral. This beachside city provides a perfect soft buzz of vibrant local life, whilst giving the opportunity to relax in quaint cafes and drink in the views.

Over 5 days, you will have the opportunity to helm, trim, practice evolutions, passage plan, weather route and if you are a budding yacht master you can have the opportunity to skipper a thrilling passage under the watchful eye of a Yachtmaster instructor.

Don’t think this will be a luxury ride! Such a high-performance racing yacht does not come with many creature comforts. Cramped quarters, freeze-dried food and basic accommodation are the trade-off for a fast boat, many miles, stunning scenery and the most exhilarating ride. We do it just as the elite ocean racers do so you truly get a genuine experience.
