The possibilities are endless as you descend from up to 1000 metres all the way down to the beach, sail through narrow fjord entrances overlooked by the steepest cliffs, and relax under the magical glow of the Northern Lights. What do I need to wear?
Each trip listing has a suggested kit list. This is a good starting point, but you are welcome to bring additional kit.
Do I need to have any sailing experience?
Generally, no – beginners are as welcome as experienced sailors on the majority of the trips we list. To be sure, read the description of your trip thoroughly; if particular sailing ability is required, it will be specified there.
Can I bring a hard suitcase?
Ideally not. Space on boats is always limited and you don’t want to end up sharing you bunk with your suitcase! Soft luggage such as duffel bags and rucksacks are your best bet.
