Then at night, treat yourself to superb beachside dining and entertainment on this exciting island adventure. Enjoy the luxury of your catamaran as you set sail from laid back Road Town on Tortola, island hopping through turquoise waters to visit the most scenic places in the BVIs.
Immerse yourself in the stunning scenery, exploring incredible locations from the almost pristine coral atoll on Anegada to the famous Norman Island. With intriguing nature and incredible wildlife, you can explore these islands at stunning anchorages, snorkelling and swimming from the boat and the sparkling white beaches.
With plenty of opportunity for some fun sailing, you will thread the needle between Great Thatch and Little Thatch islands, sail the blue waters between Virgin Gorda and Anegada and explore sunny bays for underwater excitement at Peter Island. With dozens of secluded coves and bays to explore, the warm waters are teeming with marine wildlife, making these islands a breathtaking diving and snorkelling destination.
DAY 1: Saturday Boarding
Board the yacht at 6 pm in Village Cay Marina before dinner on board and a good night’s sleep at the marina.
DAY 2: Road Town to Spanish Town
From the base at Road Town, you will sail east and enjoy a stop at The Baths, a world-famous sailing landmark. Natural granite boulders descend dramatically into the sea, creating an incredible destination to explore. Visit the restaurant and bar at the top of The Baths, enjoying the scenic trail that winds down to Devil’s Bay. A brief sail north ends at Spanish Town, which hosts lovely shopping and waterfront dining options.
DAY 3: Spanish Town to Virgin Gorda
Enjoy a lazy and fun sail down the length of the stunning island of Virgin Gorda towards the Gorda Sound. You will pass through Savannah Bay and enter a beautiful, sheltered sound surrounded by beautiful places to play, including scenic reefs and tiny islands. This is an ideal area for swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding, and exploring. When night falls, go ashore to sample the island’s dining and entertainment delights, or anchor for a romantic evening beneath the stars.
DAY 4: Virgin Gorda to Anegada
The island of Anegada is only 15 nautical miles away, along a fantastic route of blue water sailing amid the endless sun and sea. Anegada is a flat coral atoll, the only feature of its kind in the BVI. The location is almost totally pristine, with an amazing variety of island and undersea wildlife. Nature lovers can’t miss Anegada and its amazing flamingos and ground iguanas.
DAY 5: Anegada to Trellis Bay
Curving around to the east end of Tortola, rustic Trellis Bay is an appealing small village destination. Scrub Island and Guana Island offer sightseeing and recreation along the beaches. This is a day for exploring, playing in the water, and relaxing beneath the warm sun.
DAY 6: Trellis Bay to Jost Van Dyke
Jost Van Dyke is the smallest of the four main British Virgin Islands but it’s the most densely packed with sights and adventures. At Great Harbour and White Bay, you will enjoy some of the most fun bars, restaurants, and nightlife in the islands, sipping tropical cocktails and swimming by day, listening to live music in a festive atmosphere by night. If you are a nature lover, you will enjoy the scenic hike into the rainforested hills above Great Harbour.
DAY 7: Jost Van Dyke to Norman Island
The Narrows is the beautiful area of sea that separates Tortola from St. John. You will thread the needle between Great Thatch and Little Thatch Islands, then curve southeast towards Norman Island, the quaint destination that is said to be the inspiration for Treasure Island. There are dozens of secluded coves and sunny bays to explore, and the warm waters are teeming with marine wildlife. This is a breathtaking diving and snorkelling destination.
DAY 8: Norman Island to Road Town
For your last day of sailing the unforgettable British Virgin Islands, a stop at Peter Island is one last opportunity to explore sun-splashed bays, coves, and reefs. It is a short route, and you can take your time returning to base, or arrive and explore Tortola to your heart’s content. Leave the boat at 9am in Village Cay Marina.
