Embark on a week of practical sailing with an experienced skipper as you explore the beautiful coastal city of Split, Croatia. This Expedition is perfect for sailors with day skippers or similar who want to gain more sailing experience in Croatia.

The trip starts and ends in the bustling and beautiful city of Split. This hands-on sailing experience under expert supervision promises to be a sailing masterclass. It is hosted by one of our Skippers who has endless miles of sailing and teachings under their belt. You will be fully immersed in all aspects of sailing, including passage planning and victualling (provisioning) and the opportunity to sail this beautiful yacht yourself. It will also be a relaxed schedule with time to stop at some of the wonderful ports along the coast and explore at leisure. With a maximum of six crew, we will adapt the itinerary to suit individual wishes

The trip suits singles and couples (we have double and single cabins available), and you aren’t required to have any previous sailing experience. Given the skipper is a fully qualified instructor, it will also suit people who want to get some practice sailing miles or hone their existing skills. We will include a night sail and the possibility to practice celestial navigation.
Day 1 – Saturday – Arrive at the harbour in the evening and get welcomed on board, meet the Skipper and receive a safety briefing.
Day 2 – Sunday – In the morning, begin passage planning, final provisioning and route discussion. Depart after lunch.
Day 3- 5 (Monday – Thursday) – Experience adventure sailing that includes the overnight passage, watchkeeping, Celestial Navigation, and 1 or 2 shore stops (for example, Vrboska or Starigrad).
Day 6 – Friday – In the afternoon, arrive at Split’s ACI Marina.
Day 7 – Saturday – Disembark after breakfast
