Cross 1,530nm of open ocean between Australia and New Zealand

14 nights: 15 - 31 March 2022

Price: £4,265 per person

This is one of the lesser crossed oceans - indeed, more people have submitted Everest than have sailed across the Tasmin Sea. On this trip, you'll be guided by two skippers who've taken on this crossing no less than twelve times between them - include two solo! With their knowledge and live detailed weather routing, you'll sail in the true open ocean. which can see swell that hasn't touched land for thousands of miles, build to house-sized wave. However, it's not all big seas and strong winds. Out here, you'll see an abundance of sea life, watch the Milkyway streak across the night sky and experience true self-sufficiency.

We’ll depart Hobart and spend the first day of the passage clearing the coast of Tasmania, before setting a course for Cape Reinga across the Tasman Sea to Opua in the Bay of Islands, where we will clear customs before continuing the final 125nm south to the “City of Sails” Auckland.
