7 Nights: 24 February to 2nd March 2024 & 9 - 16 March 2024

Embark on a journey with the esteemed tall ship Florette, anchoring at Antigua, and immerse yourself in an authentic Caribbean maritime holiday. Allow the Leeward islands to unfold their splendour as you gracefully navigate from Montserrat through the serene vistas of St Kitts & Nevis, and finally to the beckoning shores of St. Martin.

This Caribbean sojourn, curated by Kraken Travel, promises an exquisite blend of traditional tall ship sailing under the favour of the trade winds, punctuated by island-hopping adventures, rare wildlife encounters, and moments of tranquil island reprieve.

ANTIGUA TO ST MARTIN

Embark from the pristine isle of Antigua, a radiant gem in the Caribbean’s crown that forms part of the Antigua & Barbuda ensemble. Direct voyages from the UK’s premier gateways, Heathrow and Gatwick, swiftly transition to a brief 30-minute sojourn to the harbour. In no time, you’ll be enveloped in the embrace of Antigua’s luxurious, palm-adorned beaches. Anchored majestically in the evocative Falmouth Bay, a spectacle of beauty, the Florette awaits, ready to welcome intrepid travellers aboard.

Consistent with Kraken Travel’s commitment to exemplary sailing experiences, the Florette harnesses the benevolent Caribbean trade winds, weaving through the Leeward islands, culminating the voyage at the illustrious isle of St Martin. The winds dictate our narrative, permitting exploration of the enchanting realms of Montserrat, St Kitts & Nevis, and the resplendent St Barths.

MONTSERRAT

Montserrat, with its arresting drama of geology and topography, stands as a sentinel of the Caribbean’s magnificence. This realm, defined by soaring mountain pinnacles and luxuriant rainforest terrains, carries tales of the cataclysmic 1995 Soufriere Hills Volcano eruption. Yet, from those ashes, Montserrat has blossomed anew. Today, it beckons those yearning for genuine, unhurried Caribbean rhythms — an island dance of congenial inhabitants, verdant trails, and unmatched avian spectacles, untouched by the cruises’ glare.

ST KITTS & NEVIS

Nestled amidst the Caribbean blues, the volcanic twins of St Kitts and Nevis are canvases of mist-kissed mountains and sun-kissed shores. St Kitts, crowned by the tranquil Mount Liamuiga volcano, unveils a world of verdant trails, mischievous green vervet monkeys, and tranquil crater lakes. Stroll through time along its remnants of sugar estates, or wander the vibrant lanes adorned with timbered houses, all under the gentle sway of palm silhouettes — a symphony of genuine Caribbean moments.

ST BARTHS

St Barths, with its French eloquence, has long been celebrated as the refuge of the elite. Yet beyond the glamourous façade, lies a heart of tropical allure — verdant peaks, endless stretches of powdery sands, and gardens blooming with radiant hibiscus. The island’s volcanic embrace crafts a haven of shallow reefs, perfect for immersive snorkelling and aquatic revelries.

Whether you’re a solo voyager, a couple, a family or a group of friends, this Caribbean sailing adventure promises wonders. Craft memories with each sun-drenched day, complemented by terrestrial explorations and the conviviality aboard the Florette. Dive into hidden bays shimmering in clarity, indulge in sandy retreats, and relish the aqua adventures that await.

WANT TO ADD SOME EXTRAS?

Florette and her crew can organise extra activities for guests including things like wine tasting, BBQ evenings, and pizza-making nights. None of these are mandatory and will depend on the feeling of the group but once agreed, will be planned, cost, and split between the guests. Florette runs a very fair ship and is transparent with any extra costs. All guests are responsible for recording their usage/extras in their honesty tab which is payable in EUROS/USD at the end of the trip.

PLEASE NOTE

We do require 12 guests to run this voyage, which we know is achievable for this boat given the least time and good following she has. However, the boat reserves the right to cancel the trip up to 60 days before departure if this minimum number is not reached. For the payment, we ask for a 25% deposit now and no full balance payment until the 60-day date once the voyage has been confirmed.
