Join the yacht in St. Maarten to take part in one of the Caribbean's top regattas - the Heineken Regatta!

Starting and finishing the adventure in St Maarten, commence one day of training and four days of racing, and embrace a truly unforgettable experience. This regatta is slightly shorter than most on the circuit but is a true bucket-list Caribbean regatta.

Over the course of the race and during training, you will be given world-class coaching from a pro crew, with the opportunity to enhance your skills in every job onboard this iconic offshore racing machine. From navigation to helming, with practice in trimming, grinding and foredeck, you can really get stuck in on this invigorating trip.

This trip promises to get your adrenaline pumping, as you fully immerse yourself in the world of the Caribbean regatta and elite racing, improving your racing skills and working as a team with your new crewmates.

Overall 10% faster than standard Volvo 70’s due to upgrades that have been added. The key upgrades are:

  • Keel extension by 0.4m and a keel bulb weight reduction from 5 tonnes to 4 tonnes
  • 2016 complete refit
  • Hydraulic-actuated Trim Tab added to keel fin

25th to 28th Feb – Training

Crew arrival, Short course sailing around St Maarten and safety briefing.

29th February – Race day 1

The first race will start at 10.00, followed by price-giving for the day’s racing back at the Regatta Village. The evening can be spent partying and enjoying yourself.

1st March – Race day 2

The second day of racing begins at 10.00. The evening will be spent at the price-giving back at the Regatta Village and enjoying the evenings live music.

2nd March – Race day 3

Another 10:00 race start and another evening of prize-giving and live music.

3rd March – Race day 4

The last race of the regatta is followed by the prize-giving for the race and with the announcement of the regatta’s overall winner. The last evening to let your hair down and enjoy the last concerts.
