The Transpacific Yacht Race (Transpac) is a biennial event that covers approximately 2,225 nautical miles from Los Angeles to Honolulu. The 2025 race marks its 53rd edition, with staggered start dates to accommodate various classes of yachts.
Participants will depart from San Pedro, Los Angeles, and navigate across the North Pacific Ocean, aiming to finish off Diamond Head in Honolulu. The duration of the race varies based on yacht class, weather conditions, and crew performance, typically ranging from 5 to 12 days.
