Based out of English Harbour in Antigua the setting for this regatta is fantastic with 8 Days in total, including 2 days of intensive training mixed with the best racing you can imagine, all on turquoise blue waters surrounded by big modern competitive fleets. Best of all, you’ll be racing on a Volvo Open 70!

The courses are perfect for Volvo 70, giving us enough room to throttle up and unleash some of their speed potentials but still small enough to provide the fun challenge of tactical buoy racing. After 2 days of intense training, you’ll be thrown into 5 days of some of the best racing on the Caribbean circuit.

Antigua Sailing Week includes its share of great parties and there is normally an international music act scheduled towards the end of the week. The ASW organisers and race officers are professional and experienced and put on a great event.

And of course, for us dreamers, there is the experience of walking the docks in English Harbour in the evening looking at the multi-million dollar yachts…

  • Food while on the boat
  • Accommodation on the boat once training has begun
  • 2 days of safety training prior to the event
  • Crew shirt to wear onboard & keep
  • Diesel
  • Food ashore
  • Wet weather gear
  • Travel to and from the yacht
  • Open to beginners
  • A reasonable level of fitness required.
