Join the crew onboard a legendary yacht and battle it to top the podium. You’ll sail shoulder to shoulder with the Austrian Ocean Race Project’s core team, to push the boat to its limit off the coast of Sardinia. As part of the crew, you'll be fully involved in the yacht's preparation and racing. There's no paying to be "just rail meat" here as all crew is fully involved in racing.
This legendary event regularly attracts the world's finest collection of large yachts to Porto Cervo in Sardinia for a week of intense but friendly competition. This year's entry list includes some big names, including, Farr 100 "Leopard 3", Swan 115 "Shamanna" and the stunning J Class "Valsheda". Organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in conjunction with the International Maxi Association this is one spectacular event.
The Austrian Race Project syndicate is a young and ambitious team of international sailors with a shared enthusiasm for big-boat sailing. They are on track to race worldwide in The Ocean Race 2022-23. In their debut professional event, The Ocean Race Europe, their passion and high level of performance were rewarded by taking victory in leg 1 giving them a strong overall positioning. They really are THE team to watch right now.
