Lisbon – Las Palmas takes us far out in the Atlantic Ocean in true Blue Water fashion.
Price: €1,450/ £1,310 per person*
11 Days: 4 - 14 September 2023
The route gives two basic opportunities, one going close to shore and enjoying the Portuguese coast, the other, going to visit Madeira before heading down to Las Palmas and the Canaries. If we have the time we can also visit Puerto Calero on Lanzarote. This little marina is a favourite hang-out for many a cruiser heading over the Atlantic for the Caribbean season.
The weather for this journey is likely to be warm and windy. We are well in trade wind regions and conditions are depending on eventual low pressures in the central part of the Atlantic. Eleven days should allow us a few stopovers along the way.
