Balearics Sailing Expedition is a spectacular Mile Building trip for those one looking to log miles (around 1300NM).
This Sailing Expedition is a good option if you are looking for an adventurous 2-week sailing trip with several night watches and landing in different ports. Youll have the opportunity not only to explore a beautiful part of the world but boost your sailing skills at the same time!
After crossing the Strait of Gibraltar well be heading to Cabo de Gata and after that to Cabo de Palos where we will cross to Formentera and Ibiza.
On arrival, you will check-in, get yourself comfortable, familiarise yourself with the boat and participate in the safety briefing.
If the weather forecast is good we will be casting off after lunch on a passage to Barbate or Gilbraltar that should be around 24-26 hours. Passing the Strait requires some preparation.
Leaving the Strait towards East probably with the next stop in Almerimar or Cartagena.
The highlight of this trip obviously is to drop anchor in Formentera and swim in blue crystal waters. If we have time we will be sailing into Cabrera and hike in this beautiful island (nature park).
On day 8 we will head back towards Portugal, our final destination, stopping off along the way to explore and enjoying fantastic sailing.
