Come aboard a Volvo 65 on this challenging offshore sailing race that covers a 600NM course starting and ending in Sounion, Greece under the tutelage of the Austrian Ocean Race Project, a young and ambitious team of international professional sailors led by accomplished and highly competitive Dutch skipper, Gerwin Jansen. During the first few days in Sounion you will have some time to explore the city. Take in the stunning coastal scenery and the archeological sites, and make sure you visit the Temple of Poseidon (the first Athenian landmark that can be seen from the Aegean Sea) to ask for still waters, but strong winds for your race!<\/p>\n

On the fourth day the time of waiting will finally be over and you are off!! You will pass through various Greek islands in the Aegean Sea. Together with the professional crew, navigate your way through the Aegean archipelago, where you will possibly encounter a variety of weather conditions to test your sailing skills over several days of racing. Crossing fingers that you will come out on top when it comes to the awards ceremony!<\/p>\n
