Cyclades – Paros

POPULAR WITH ADVENTUROUS SAILORS

Home to some of the world’s most popular island destinations, sailing in the Cyclades lets you get away from the crowds. The iconic islands of Mykonos and Santorini are busy with tourists throughout the year, so venture to the other 220 islands in the region for your fix of clear water, sandy beaches, awe-inspiring architecture and culture. Due to the summer Meltemi, sailing in the Cyclades is thrilling as the 20kt+ breeze can kick up a rolling sea – perfect for more adventurous sailors.

Dodecanese – Kos

IDEAL FOR “OUT OF SEASON” SAILING
Located at the Southeastern end of Greece, the Dodecanese islands are the warmest Greek sailing destination. This warmer climate makes them the ideal location to visit as early as April and as late as November – outside of most of the Greek charter season. With prevailing winds lighter than those in the Aegean Sea, this relaxing cruising ground is perfect getting to grips with yacht chartering, yet wanting to have a truly Greek experience ashore.

Top Tip

Take some time to hop ashore and explore some of Greece’s best examples of Medieval architecture.

Sporades – Skiathos

enjoy dazzling beaches and intense nightlife
Skiathos is located at the Southeastern end of Greece and is considered one of the most-travelled of the islands due to its international airport, dazzling sandy white beaches, energetic nightlife and seaside tavernas. Away from the coast, you can still find quiet mountain paths to discover graceful churches and monasteries tucked away in the verdant countryside.
