Grenada

A Caribbean country located at the southern end of the Grenadines island chain, comprising a main island, Grenada, and smaller surrounding islands. Grenada consists of three islands in the Caribbean Sea: Grenada, the largest and most populated, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Dubbed the “Spice Isle”, and home to a unique combination of French and English culture, exotic flowers and rare fruits, and a rich history of storytelling. Boasting silky stretches of white sand and is surrounded by a unique black coral. Grenada is a diver’s paradise teeming with marine life, spectacular shipwrecks and even a unique underwater sculpture park.

St. George’s

On the west coast, St. George’s is the capital of Grenada, boasting the 18th-century Fort George that offers panoramic views of the island and St. George’s Bay. Visit The Grenada National Museum, which hosts exhibits about the region’s history, such as the plantation and whaling industries. Go diving at Molinere Bay Underwater Sculpture Park, created by sculptor Jason Decaires Taylor in 2006. This experience seeks to promote the regrowth of coral on pH-neutral cement sculptures. Begin charter at the Port Louis Marina

Carriacou / Petite Martinique

Carriacou, known as the “Isle of Reefs”, is an excellent dive and snorkel destination with clear waters, pristine coral reefs, and magical drifts. Steeped in ancestral traditions, all of which reflect the rich African and Scottish ancestry of its inhabitants, Carriacou is a historical beauty. On Petite Martinique, take a guided hike up to the highest peak, the Piton, rising 750 feet above sea level. Or, explore the hidden cave in Darant bay, Madam Pierre, by boat and at low tide. Visit the beaches of Sanchez for surfing or Mang or snorkelling.
