Are Kraken sailing trips suitable for solo travellers?
Generally, YES! Solo travellers may travel alone, but on arrival they become part of the crew. If a trip isn’t suitable for solo travellers you’ll find we will say so on the trip’s listing page.
Do I need to have any sailing experience?
Generally, no – beginners are as welcome as experienced sailors on the majority of the trips we list. To be sure, read the description of your trip thoroughly; if particular sailing ability is required, it will be specified there.
Can I bring a hard suitcase?
Ideally not. Space on boats is always limited and you don’t want to end up sharing you bunk with your suitcase! Soft luggage such as duffel bags and rucksacks are your best bet.
