The Austrian Ocean Race Project is a young and ambitious team of international professional sailors led by accomplished and highly competitive Dutch skipper, Gerwin Jansen.

From September 28th to October 6th, 2024, you'll dive into the world of inshore racing, battling it out off the coast of southern France in one of the most elite sporting events on the sailing calendar.

As part of the crew, you'll be fully involved in the yacht's preparation and racing, working shoulder to shoulder with the Austrian Ocean Race Project's core team to push the boat to its limits all while taking in the views and living life to the fullest.

TRAINING
Join “Sisi” on the evening of 28th September in St Tropez to start your training for one of the most elite sporting events on the sailing calendar.
FULL ITINERARY
30th September & 1st October – On-the-water training
2nd to 5th October – Racing (including one “Lay Day”)
This is inshore/coastal racing and you’ll require accommodation ashore.
Please bring the suitable kit to race in, including:
- Waterproof gear
- Sunhat
- Sailing gloves
- Sun cream
- Any medication you require
- Seasickness pills if needed
- Water bottle
- Safety knife
- Sailing boots/Deck trainers
