Well, we are here to teach you everything you need to know about using a spinnaker you will learn on this comprehensive 2-day spinnaker course: how to rig, hoist, drop, and perfect spinnaker trim and gybing. We will teach you about pole heights, positions, main sail setting, the use of tweakers and trimming. We will cover man overboard recovery under kite as well as discuss broaching, how to prevent it, and recovery.
Positions will be rotated to maximize learning opportunities. The course will be boat-based and will start and finish at Port Hamble Marina in Hamble (located in Hampshire, England, Hamble’s village is known for its quaint waterfront pubs, historic buildings, and scenic walks along the riverbank) This course is suitable for anyone who is looking to gain confidence in using a symmetrical spinnaker whilst sailing or racing.
